Terms & Conditions

General requirements:

• You must have a current, valid U.S. or State or International driver’s license.
• You must be at least 25 years of age to rent and drive one of our vehicles.
• You must demonstrate adequate riding skills. A pre-ride evaluation will be conducted to verify you are skilled in the operation of the rental vehicle.
• You agree not to allow anyone other than yourself or other authorized renters under your rental agreement to operate your rental slingshot.
• You agree that you will not perform stunts of any kind on your rental sport bike including but not limited to drifting or burnouts, doughnuts, or smoking the tires.

We reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and retake possession of the slingshot in response to a violation of any of the foregoing.

Insurance requirements:

• You are required to have full coverage insurance from your insurance provider with the Use of Non-Owned Cars by Designee AKA renters insurance This insurance is mandatory and must be provided by the customer / renter prior to taking custody of the rental slingshot.
• If for any reason our slingshot or rental vehicle gets damaged, the amount needed for the repair will be deducted from your security deposit prior to the opening of any claim with your insurance provider.
• All coverage and waivers are subject to the terms and conditions of the rental contract and do not include coverage for property, personal or otherwise, or damage because of negligence on the part of the renter or passenger for any illegal use of the vehicle or its use under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If you are ill, or sick, or on any prescription or over-the-counter medication you cannot operate our slingshot or rental vehicles.
• Keep in mind you are responsible for the safe operation of our rental slingshot.
• Renter is fully responsible for the safe storage of this vehicle in any and all-weather conditions while the rental vehicle is under their care, custody and control.
• If the renter does not have a garage, it is strongly suggested renter take the cover for the vehicle in case of inclement weather to protect their deposit. If the renter refuses to cover or does not use cover and the vehicle suffers weather damage the renter is responsible for said damages noted upon return.

Lost key is $425.00. ECU Reprogramming of is $250.00 – DO NOT LOSE THE KEY!

• If you get a ticket or run a toll you are responsible for it. Should you not handle it in a timely manner Baytown Slingshot Rentals will add a $350.00 processing fee on top of the costs associated with clearing things up.
• Rim Damage, Flat tires and Towing are not covered by us during your rental. You are responsible for notifying us that the rental vehicle has rim damage or a flat tire. We then will tell you the cost to repair, mount and balance the wheel.

Reservations:

• Reservations are dependent on slingshot availability. We are usually pre-booked, so book now.
• Reservations are accepted by calling Roy Theophilus Bent, Jr. at 832-279-2368
• There are no refunds for undesirable weather, but we will make our best efforts to reschedule you for a future date. Check the weather and become a meteorologist. It will benefit you for years to come.
• Slingshots may be held for 30 minutes beyond the scheduled reservation time. If you’re running late, please call us!
• The renter agrees to and is required to leave a refundable security deposit of $500 with Baytown Slingshot Rentals. Said deposit will be used, in the event of loss or damage to the vehicle or equipment during the term of this agreement, towards covering any deductible on the renter’s insurance and loss of rental income while the vehicle is under repair. All damages are to be processed under the renter’s insurance policy. Any excess security shall be returned to the renter. The renter does not have any claim for the damaged property either through Baytown Slingshot Rentals or through an insurance claim. All parts are the property of Roy Bent Kingdom, Inc. DBA Baytown Slingshot Rentals.
• A security deposit of $500 will be applied to your credit card at the time of rental. The slingshot operator will need to provide a valid credit card for the security deposit. We hold this deposit as an authorization hold on your credit card it is not a charge.
• Our Slingshots come with 250 miles per daily rental, any mileage over the 250 miles given will be charged $3.95 per mile.
• Baytown Slingshot Rentals reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any given time. So be courteous as we created this business for you to enjoy yourself.
• If the vehicle is not returned at the agreed-upon time, the renter will be charged an additional $100.00 per hour for each hour that you return the vehicle late. Renters will be allowed a 15 minute grace period before the late fee is put into effect.

Operational Policies:

• Before you get on the slingshot or rental vehicle, we will show you the tire pressures and gas levels.
• Your rental will be provided with a full tank of PREMIUM fuel. Refill is necessary, units returned with less fuel than delivered subject to a penalty of up to $100.
• Please report any mechanical problems to us immediately. Our slingshots and rental vehicles are inspected before we rent them. We do not rent vehicles that have mechanical issues.
• Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage by not adhering to inspecting the slingshot or rental vehicle before you ride it. If it has a flat or leak do not ride it. Treat the rental vehicle like you are riding your own.
